VicenzaOro September 2022 edition had the catchy hashtag #AllAtOnce and it perfectly captured the essence of the show, where thousands of exhibitors met with buyers, and press...to showcase thousands of new jewelry pieces....all at once!
According to exhibition organizers, Italian Exhibition Group IEG, "VicenzaOro 2022 had 20% more foreign visits than 2019, with global business being back in Vicenza stronger than ever!
Foreign countries drive VOS beyond pre-pandemic levels and account for 51% of total visits from 124 countries with Spain, USA, France and Germany in the lead
Over a thousand brands at the show while domestic exports in the first five months of the year stood at +36.5%
VO Vintage on the increase for the fine watch and jewellery sectors and talks with key figures to spread the culture of vintage"
Being at the show really turns these facts and figures into reality...I heard so many foreign languages all around me (not only Italian!) and felt the energy of both exhibitors and attendees, all of whom were loving being immersed once again in the wonderful world of jewelry. As always, what makes VicenzaOro one of my favorite shows, is the combination of the jewels with the people. Seeing my colleges from the press feels like a high school reunion - we are always so pleased to see one another, and catch up. This year we had a press contingent that included press from the US, Australia, Italy, Netherlands, France, UK, Poland, India, and more! Heartfelt thanks to IEG for organizing it in such an exemplary manner, and creating an environment that's conducive to both hard work....and fun!
